HL-50E – Laser Marker

The Haas HL50E is a fully enclosed, infrared fibre laser marking machine that combines advanced photonics and fibre optic technology to offer precise laser marking capabilities to your production line.

Equipped with an optical fibre cable instead of the typical series of lenses to concentrate and amplify the high-output, diode-generated light through a converging lens, the resulting laser beam is straighter, smaller, and more precise than other types of laser marking machines, with greater electrical efficiency and comparatively low operating costs.

This machine is suitable for most metallic materials and alloys, such as steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminium, silver, and iron, as well as some non-metallic materials, allowing it to be applicable across a wide range of industries, ideal for small and large manufacturing operations alike.

The HL-50E is a complete fiber laser marking solution that includes everything you need to etch and mark materials in your shop – all in a mobile, easy-to-setup package.

The Haas HL-50E Fiber Laser Marking Machine includes:

  • Q-Switched (ns) Pulse Width Pump Source – efficiently emits light in rapid nanosecond (ns) bursts/pulses, for better thermal control and higher peak powers, which is ideal for laser marking and light engraving
  • Integrated Fume Extractor – automatically extracts harmful fumes and particulates produced by lasering
  • Guiding/Focusing Laser Pointers – allows for quick and convenient laser focusing on different height workpieces
  • 4th Axis Capable – easily interface with bolt-on rotary units, with a standard 4-pin aviation plug
  • Integrated Windows 11 PC
    • Includes a lifetime license for LightBurn Pro Laser Control Software
  • 450x350mm Standard Fixture Plate
  • Optical Density (OD)-Rated Laser Light-Safe Windows
  • Power and Manual Laser Head Height Adjustment
  • Remote Start Foot Switch
  • 12-month parts warranty from ship date, supported by your local Haas Factory Outlet; on-site installation, training, service labor, and travel charges will apply
  • (2) F-Theta Laser Lens:
    • F160 Lens: 110x110mm (~4×4″) working area, 160mm focal length (default)
      • ~390mm (15.4in) maximum part height
    • F290 Lens: 200x200mm (~8×8″) working area, 290mm focal length
      • ~240mm (9.4in) maximum part height

How We Build VMCs Today

Back in the late 1980s we started building our first VMC, the VF-1.

Today, our process is finely tuned and extremely efficient for a machine that is still hand built to a great extent. Take a look at how we build the same VF that may be sitting on your shop floor not too long from now.
