TOOL CAPACITY

The DT-1 is a compact, high-speed drill and tap machine with full milling capabilities. A powerful BT30 taper inline direct-drive spindle provides 10,000 rpm, and allows high-speed rigid tapping. A high-speed, 20-pocket tool changer swaps tools quickly, while 2400 ipm rapids and high acceleration rates shorten cycle times and reduce non-cutting time.

The DT-1’s lean-style, compact footprint makes very efficient use of valuable shop floor space.

  • Powerful BT30 taper inline direct-drive spindle
  • High-productivity machining center with a compact footprint
  • Made in the USA

Drill/Tap Centre; 508 x 406 x 394 mm, BT30 taper, 15 hp vector drive, 10,000 rpm (12K, 15K & 20k opt.), 61 m/min rapids, high-speed 20+1 side-mount tool changer, power-failure detection module, 1 GB program memory, 15″ colour LCD monitor, USB port, Ethernet interface, memory lock keyswitch, rigid tapping and 170 L flood-coolant system. Anchor kit highly recommended for installation.

Haas VF-2SS & HRC210 Demo

This demo was designed to show off the higher spindle speed and rapids of the VF-2SS and the quickness of the HRC210.

You can also see in-process probing for part location and feature inspection using the Haas WIPS system.

VF-4 and TR200Y - Cutting Demo

Watch as our VF-4 mill joins forces with our TR200Y 5-Axis trunnion rotary table to put features on 5 sides of this block.

How We Build VMCs Today

Back in the late 1980s we started building our first VMC, the VF-1.

Today, our process is finely tuned and extremely efficient for a machine that is still hand built to a great extent. Take a look at how we build the same VF that may be sitting on your shop floor not too long from now.
