Rugged 50-Taper Horizontal Machining Centres with Large Capacities

Haas 50-taper Horizontal Machining Centres offer the high performance together with the large capacity you need to handle larger work.

The highly popular Haas EC Series Horizontal Machining Centres offer large work cubes. They have a maximum part capacity of 4,500 kg. This makes them perfect solutions for your large-part machining requirements. Furthermore, models are available with a 4th-axis rotary platter integrated into the T-slot table. As a result, this provides access to four sides of a part or tombstone for simultaneous 4th-axis machining.

  • Standard side-mount tool changer, 50+1 tools
  • 50-taper spindle with a 2-speed gearbox
  • Extra-large work envelope
  • 1,270mm max part swing with integrated 4th axis (optional)

Wireless Intuitive Probing System

Drastically reduce setup times on your mill

Automate your CNC mill’s setup process with the Haas Wireless Intuitive Probing System (WIPS). WIPS is a complete probing package that includes the spindle probe, tool setting probe, and optical machine interface. Furthermore, powerful software guides the operator through the job setup process with intuitive, easy-to-use templates. As a result, WIPS allows you to quickly and easily define work offset coordinates. Additionally, set your machine’s tool length offsets, and perform an in-process inspection.
