The Haas ST-55Y is a Y-axis version of our large-bore ST-55 turning centre, providing the same heavy cutting ability, extreme rigidity, and high thermal stability, while adding Y-axis and C-axis motion for secondary operations. The twin-chuck capability, high-torque spindle, and large through-bore make the ST-55Y ideal for machining heavy pipes and fittings, large couplers, and long rollers. The addition of Y-axis motion, C-axis interpolation, and live tooling allows milling, drilling, and tapping for increased machine capabilities.
