Haas VF-5/50XT 50-Taper Vertical
The Haas VF-5/50XT vertical machining centre has 1524 x 660 x 635 mm travels and is built utilising vibration-damping cast-iron components. Like every Haas machine, the VF-5/50XT represents years of ongoing refinement. The Haas VF-5/50XT is a rugged, gear-driven vertical machining center that yields reliability and accuracy in a medium-framed machine. The VF-5/50XT has a 50-taper cartridge spindle that's powered by a 30 hp (22.4 kW) vector drive running through the 2-speed geared head. The VF-5/50XT will produce 450 ft-lb (610 Nm) of torque at a low 500 rpm, but will also run up to 7500 rpm in less than 5 seconds for finishing aluminium.
The Haas control features advanced tool management, single-button features, 15" colour LCD monitor and a USB port.
