Haas VF-3YT Vertical Machining Centre
The Haas VF-3YT Vertical Machining Centre is based on the VF-3 with extended travels of 1016 x 660 x 635 mm. It features a 20 hp (15kW) 7500 rpm, dual drive and has 20-tool carousel tool changer, 1000 ipm (25. 4- m/min) rapids, USB port, 1MB, rigid tapping, 55-gallon (208-litre) flood coolant system.
The Haas VF-3YT is a rugged vertical machining centre that combines reliability and accuracy with a table 7" (178 mm) wider than a VF-3. The VF-3YT has a 40-taper cartridge spindle driven by a 20 hp (14.9 kW) vector drive. It produces either 75 ft-lb (102 Nm) of torque at a low 1400 rpm, or 250 ft-lb (339 Nm) at 450 rpm with the optional 2-speed gearbox – and will also run up to 7500 rpm in 1.2 seconds for finishing aluminum.
